Day 13

This morning we woke up in our little storage unit turned bedroom and headed out the door. But not before Mark attached this sash that he had carried all the way from Utah for me. 

As we were leaving a German woman sang the whole happy birthday some to me, saying "dear girl" since she didn't know my name. 

Once we left the town we mostly walked through vineyards. 

We weren't the only people passing through the wine country, as there was some sort of endurance race taking place on the same path we were walking on. 

The scenery remained beautiful for our entire walk today. 

After not too long we arrived in Villafranca, our destination for the day. 

Not a bad place to spend your birthday. 

I was greeted by this nice note when we arrived at our hotel:

We had lunch and explored the town for a bit. The camino definitely had a presence in the town.

We had plenty of chocolate too:

All in all a good day. Now to mentally prepare for the 30 km walk tomorrow.
