We spent today relaxing in Finisterre. Mostly that meant eating breakfast twice. The first time we were eating omelets and these Americans we met awhile back came in to the same cafe. They were very excited to see us because they said no one here spoke English.
Then we had a second dessert breakfast to pass time until we could leave our bags at a hostel and explore the town.
Besides eating, our main priority in Finisterre was visiting the beach.
And searching for scallop shells. I found this giant one, but it was broken.
There were so many shells along the beach.
Seriously. Millions.
Here's Mark searching for scallop shells:
I waded in up to my ankles even though it was rather cold.
Still loved it.
I told Mark to do something cool for this picture:
The scallop shells we found:
We wandered around town for a bit.
And eventually stumbled into a restaurant for dinner. Can you guess who ordered what?
The salad was Mark's. But don't worry, he's not too healthy. Gotta have fanta naranja to go with it!

What a yummy day! Love the shells. What a great accomplishment you two have made.
